Commitment to Ministry
Realizing the requirement to use our talents and gifts for a greater purpose, Legacy Senior Living’s vision also includes helping churches and faith-based organizations in the development and operation of senior living communities that can provide an extra degree of ministry to seniors.
Heritage Place at Legacy Retirement Village
Heritage Place, an active adult senior development, opened in 2008. It is phase one of Legacy Retirement Village, a nonprofit, faith-based retirement village on land formerly known as Rolling Hills Golf Course. The community features quiet, comfortable living in cozy patio homes that are attractive, secure and easy to maintain. The development is a joint venture between Cornerstone Senior Developments, Inc., and Westmore Church of God. Future senior living development on the campus is desired. Iris B. Vest Widows Ministry
In 2002, Legacy Senior Living Vice President Barry Ray worked with the Church of God International Offices, headquarters of the denomination, in the planning, development, and opening of the Widows Ministry Center, a retirement community dedicated to fulfilling the mandate of James 1:27. This Christian community is dedicated to serving widows and providing them with independent living options in a warm and compassionate atmosphere. Visit Widows Ministry Center.
